Note of correction
So I feel like an idiot, but I do realize that I spelled Recipes wrong...I will make sure not to do it again, but I am only human so forgive me for the mistake.
Creation of Little Eaters
I don't know about you, but I am a mom that has very little time to spend on dinner, lunch, or breakfast, I am on a tight budget, and I have an 11 month old who doesn't want anything to do with the pureed foods. She wants to eat what's on my plate and at the price of baby food why shouldn't I let her. She has 2 teeth on the bottom, which still makes it a little challenging, but oh well. So, the creation of this blog is to give other parents and house holds, food ideas that allow you to cook for everyone in your house hold the same thing, including your darling little baby! To top it all off I plan on doing it on a budget. In my household I always cook for at least 6 people, that way I still have enough food for Bug when he is at our house, for Boo Boo, and so that we have left overs for lunch the next day. Also because sometimes we have a surprise guest. I have read other blogs that give you receipes for your little one, but they all seem to be complicated, require rare or expensive pantry items, and take up to much time. Also, a lot of them are still pureed or they are something that I would never eat. Now, there will be some things that you may need. I coupon, so starting a coupon binder is a must if you want the same deals that I get. A great place that can help you get started on this, if you haven't already, is The Crazy Coupon Lady. She tells you what you need, gives you print outs for your binder, and tells you how to organize it. Now of course you don't have to follow her word for word, everyone has their own ways to organize their things, so do what feels comfortable to you. You will probably also need something that you can store the food in so that it's easy for your nanny or day care provider to use. I plan on trying to put a new receipe up every night so that you can use it for the next day. Most of the stuff I will using will not be fancy and you will probably have already in your pantry, freezer, or fridge. I will post a shopping list before the receipe so that you know what you will need for the receipe. Also, keep an eye out for good receipes! You can post them on here or email them to me! I will be trying out the receipes before I post them on the blog to make sure that they are actually worth your time and mine. The first receipe will be posted tomorrow night! I will see you all then. |
